Founded by Pope Urban IV on the site of his father (a cobbler's) workshop, its architecture displays strengh and elegance. The lightness of ogival art, "spiritualized stone" ; built in the 13th century. The upper part of the nave finished in the 19th century. In the choir, 13th century windows. 16th century statues, including a Virgin with grapes in the right-hand chapel. Ancient tomstones. In the choir, the tomb of Urban IV (bas-relief by Henry Charlier).
